My money is on Trump for another 4 years , just sayin ….
he lost popular vote, won by the smallest margin in many cycles
hillary had huge negatives that alowed what should have been a slaughter to be competitive
has lost support since he came into office
he got pummeled in 2018
what gives you confidence for 2020?

Biden will probably get #metoo'd when he announces, and if he doesn't, he still doesn't have a shot.

Mine isn’t.
Ask Venezula how socialism has worked out for them or any other country in the past . NOTHING is for free , I've worked extremely hard for everything I have ! So in my mind and Trump supporters the rest of all the human beings can do and must do the same . They can cry for free hand outs all day long, I say WORK FOR IT like I've had to .

And so do a *lot* of people in the US - they might work longer hours, doing tougher labor than you do - and don't have benefits in healthcare, solid public education, community infrastructure, postsecondary education supports, etc that you are arguing they deserve because they work hard. Similarly, there are people who do nothing and receive a ton of benefits despite barely lifting a finger

we need to socially re-examine this notion of a direct, linear relationship between "hard work" and benefits - because the discussion currently gets skewed through moral and value judgments whereby people just want to issue condemnation based on assumption. What we should start with is what we believe we should and can provide for people in order to make acquisition of desirable lifestyles (that we pride ourselves in being the envy of the world when it comes to this) possible and working toward improving opportunities precisely because we know we can't predict/determine outcome

If providing more robust social supports was some sort of deterrent to working hard, I would have expected to see much more shiftless laziness when I moved from the US to Canada. Except I haven't. People work just as hard. The national attitude toward work ethic is pretty much the same.

are we to believe Trump, then? Do you believe Trump when he said the following:

Who's James Hohmann , we suppose to believe him too ? Never heard of him , we were suppose to believe Hillary too , want happened to her emails and all the other evil things her and [mod edit - seek a higher level] did that hurt the country instead of help it . Telling Japan we're sorry , really ?
Giving foreign countries cash money ? Really ?

He is a reporter for the Washington Post. But if that's not enough, how about the transcript of his rally speech.

The transcript here:

https://factba.se/transcript/donald-trump-speech-maga-rally-el-paso-february-11-2019

quotes Trump as follows:
Donald Trump said:
You know, there's never been anything like this in the history of our country. We have to understand that there's never been if you would say as an example that tonight sixty nine thousand people signed up to be here now the arena holds eight thousand and thank you fire department that they got in about ten.
Donald Trump said:
Thank you fire department, but if you want to really see something go outside tens of thousands of people are watching the screens outside and we were all challenged by a young man who lost an election to Ted Cruz. And then they said, you know what hey you're supposed to win in order to run by the way we I we I'm 1 and 1, I'm 1 4, 1. Think of it. Well, we had one election.
Donald Trump said:
We won now we're going to be 2, 4, 0 and everything's gonna be fine when a young man who's got very little going for himself, except he's got a great first name. He is he challenged us. So we had, let's say thirty five thousand people tonight and he has two hundred people, three hundred people, not too good.
"he" refers to Beto O'Rourke and the attendance at his rally.

So, what now that "Fake News" doesn't apply?

The whole [mod edit] Trump clan was lying about the size of the rallies last night on twitter, like the official numbers wouldn't be recorded and released. They do this crap all the time. And people from places like the one listed below believe it all, lock, stock and barrel and just call everything fake news if it doesn't applaud Trump for being able to wipe his butt without getting it on his hand. I wonder what it is...

Jennings is a city in and the parish seat of Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana, United States, near Lake Charles. The population was 10,383 at the 2010 census, a small decline from the 2000 tabulation. The city is 68 percent white.
