Minshew not bad IMO. Probably should’ve asked for him rather than a garbage 5th rd pick for Ceedy.

Still P'Oed about that Ceedy trade. They should’ve just kept him inactive all season rather than take a garbage pick that won’t even make the roster.

I’m not kidding, as soon as he got out of that dumpster fire in Jacksonville and went to Philly he has a 68% completion percentage and a 4 to 1 TD to int ratio. Hurts looks like an MVP and because of that he takes a back seat. My best friends a huge eagles fan and because of that I’m subject to watch them sometimes and Minshew can play. A ton of reporters said he went toe to toe with Hurts in camp and might even throw a better ball.

This is indeed a thread. I definitely can't argue with that. Wonder what Charlie Whitehurst, Bubby Brister, Sean Salisbury, the other Hasselbeck, and Zack Mettenberger are doin right now.
Idk about the other ones but I talked to Zack about 2 weeks ago and he was in Bama

I'd take Minshew in a heartbeat. He can play and he's a leader of men.

He’s an UFA after the season. Wouldn’t make sense to trade for him with Winston/Dalton on the team. Whether or not we have a successful season with those two, we are committed to them through the season.

Yeah but the average low IQ football fan on here isn’t gonna see it like that. Not surprised, why I only come on here once in a blue moon. Most of the good posters are gone

True.

Jacksonville literally traded him b/c his leadership overshadowed Lawrence so they got rid of Minshew.

This, go watch him throw a ball, he’s pin point accurate, a leader, and all locker room guys respect him. He’s a poor man’s Brees. Not the tallest, super accurate, demands respect and people follow him. His teamates rally behind him, they want him to succeed and e en try harder for him when he’s on the field, that’s the guy I want. Give him an actual receiving corps for once and he would be incredible.

Dude literally looked fantastic with the freaking jags…

Good post. If that’s the case ride out the season and go get him and spend all the free agency money on other pieces
