Transfering music from an SD card to a Samsung Captivate? (1 Viewer)

A friend asked me how to, and I'm not that familiar with Android. I played around with his phone for a few minutes, and nothing stood out to me. Is there a simple way to do this?

Couldn't you just plug the sd card and the phone into a pc and just transfer them via drag n drop?
