In this article (from earlier this year), Mike T. reminds us that Trequan had two (2) TD’s in our playoff loss to the Bucs last year.

Let’s also not forget the Bucs targeting Deonte, knocking him out of the game... (and also Jared Cook’s bonehead move of not securing the ball)!

But I digress. The Triplett article is a good read. With our strong O-line, CGM, Trequan, Callaway, Trautman, Stills, Kamara... Saints’ offense will be ballin’ out!

Let’s not forget that Trequan is also a GREAT downfield blocker!

:gosaints:

If he plays 12 games this year and averages 50 yds/game for remainder of the season, that would be a breakout season for Trequan and a huge help to the offense.
Being that he’s never started more than 10 games (played in 12 or more twice in 4 seasons) in a season, starting for just 12 games with no stats would be a breakout year for TQS

When a guys main issue has always been separation, it doesn’t really help the case that Triplett is trying to make that he leads off with a trick play. It was a trick, he was wide open. TQS is a valuable piece but as a target, we have heard this song before.
