That model is notorious for over estimating intensity. We'll get some bad weather on the northern coast,but I just can't see a
cat 3 at landfall this time of year.

If its picking up movement speed, its gonna be harder for it to make that sharp turn causing it to go more to the east. The thinking has been the slower it is, the more east it'll go.

Another problem is it expands when freezing. My roof survived Katrina,but I had to replace it after a ice storm in 2013.

Yeah and then some pipe materials shrink up to the point of being completely useless.
Obviously I have never experienced this first hand....
