WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News in the Oval Office, said that the Academy Awards failure on Sunday evening was due in large part to Hollywood’s obsessive focus on politics—attacking him, generally speaking.

Trump told Breitbart News in the exclusive interview that the Oscar fail may have been avoided had Hollywood’s finest focused less on attacking him and more on getting the event’s details right.

“I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end,” President Trump said. “It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn’t feel like a very glamorous evening. I’ve been to the Oscars. There was something very special missing, and then to end that way was sad.”
Exclusive

Not sure what's funnier, the fact that he believes this or the fact that this is a Breitbart "exclusive." :hihi:

Since it came out last week that Breitbart won't produce anything in writing saying that Bannon isn't still working for them (or for Mercer), I wonder if he got a bonus for setting up the interview.

It does not fit neatly with his worldview, but the distracted person wasn't one of the Hollywood artsy types, and the object of distraction wasn't Trump. It was Emma Stone, all aglow backstage in the first flush of losing her Oscar virginity, and just the perfect celeb for a star-loving accountant to quickly photograph and tweet before getting back to the mundane task of giving out those silly statues . . .

Here's the thing ... Brian was supposed to discard the spare Best Actress envelope and hand Warren Best Picture.

As for why ... we know this. Brian was tweeting like crazy during the ceremony, posting photos ... so he may have been distracted. Brian has since deleted the tweets, but one was a pic of Emma Stone with her Oscar. If it was tweeted right after her win, that's exactly when Brian should've been prepping for the next category ... Best Picture.

I fully expected to be redirected to an Onion article. You (literally) can't even make this up.

The fact that he honestly believes that with all his shriveled heart shows exactly how huge of an ego this man has.

The thread headline seems to be inaccurate.

Yeah, the mainstream establishment liberal accounting firms like Price Waterhouse Cooper have been very vocal in criticizing Trump. lol
