Just saw this.... Looking for link.

Looks like minor... For the high sprain. Called a "tightrope" procedure. So prolly like a knee scope in regards to down time 2 weeks or so

Yeah, I don't see how you have surgery and are good to go in a couple weeks.

That sucks because I don't want any excuses...
Excuses??? We haven't beaten them since 2011.......you take what you can get. Who cares if there are excuses?? We've been making excuses for years against them, those wins still count....

Even if Tua is less than 100%, it's anything but a given that we will win the game

im with ya.

We have faced them repeatedly with a less than average passing game, while having great defenses and good/great run games. They never said " wish LSU had a bomb a$$ QB so we could face em at equal strength"

This year is way different and they know it. Saban isnt looking forward to this game. That back end hasnt faced a passing offense like ours and will be the deciding factor in this game.

If Tua doesnt go, Bama gets to live a Sat night like the other 99% of the NCAA.

Tennesee had them on the ropes and ended up beating themselves.

Tennessee losing that game was as inevitable as Donald Trump making **** up the next time he opens his mouth. It was an L the moment the date was assigned to the schedule.

For the sake of recruiting, I will take any advantage we can get. There are still some big time undecided players that we are trying to get for next year

He is playing. Saw a blurb said he was recovering faster than last year.

hmmmmmmm

The big ones left for LSU are supposed to be on the Bama sidelines for this game. That's either going to be very good for LSU or very bad for LSU.

Maybe, but he's not going to be 100%. Those RPOs are going to be less R and more P. He's going to be just a few unfortunate hits away from Max Jones taking snaps. LSU won't need to anything dirty. Just forcing him to move, plant, stumble and catch himself, etc will all cause issues for his ankle. If he's not able to have a stable base, his throws will be off.

LSU is going to need to stuff the run. Then if they can pressure him, the defense will have a chance to make a statement.
