The brief winning streak is over.

The New Orleans Saints had two costly turnovers, and the defense again gave up too many big plays in a 27-21 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Things started well for the Saints (2-4) as quarterback Drew Brees threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks on their opening drive, a play in which Cooks lined up in the backfield and then beat linebacker Frank Zombo on a wheel route.

After that drive, though, the Saints had an incredibly sloppy first half. The Chiefs (4-2) answered the touchdown on the following drive with former LSU running back Spencer Ware weaving through the defense for a 46-yard receiving touchdown.
