Are turnovers created by the players or by the system?

And why do we not have either?

Any thoughts?

Are our players not aggressive enough?

We don't have many big, fast players. We don't have any great playmakers on the back end of the defense. We're doing what works with the guys we got: stop the run, and pray the corners do enough in man-on-man within their zones of responsibility that our pass rush can at least force bad throws, or make them work to get down the field.

Our number of first downs allowed, yards per pass play, rushing TDs, are all indicative of what's going on. Lack of athleticism hurts us in the red zone, but we're doing a decent job of getting enough 3-and-outs to keep us in the game and let the O do its thing.

I'm not too worried now, but come playoff time getting turnovers will be the difference maker. The defense will need to start thinking like it will get turnovers soon.

great question......speed is the bottom line on defense.

What the Chicago Bears do and what the Baltimore Ravens used to do is insane.....
