He willingly took a paycut than risk losing a job and trying to pass another team's physical.

All signs point to that he still hasn't recovered from that injury.

Maybe he has the Derrick Rose mental block. Where it took Rose a year and a half to just get back on the court.

I believe Hill will definitely have the opportunity to prove himself as an NFL QB. I actually think that the reason Bridgewater didn’t get a multi year deal is because they still believe Hill can develop into the heir apparent. Watching how he does in TC and preseason will be exciting
