Two biggest concerns (1 Viewer)

1. Did Falcons expose the right side of DL against the run. Davenport and Hendrickson were not very good.
2. Did Falcons expose our passing game by dropping lots of guys into short zones. Drew looked reluctant to drill a ball into windows today. Perhaps the thumb limits his grip enough to make it tough to drill the ball.
Patriots lost to Dolphins last year. Every team has a dud game.

This was the Falcons Superbowl . Nothing to play for except hurt the Saints. They had 2 weeks of pent up anger, we didn't take advantage of our bye week. They were more focused. The dumb penalties kept their drives alive.

Online didn't help and Bree's still rusty.

Hopefully this wakes them up

The Falcons team that we played yesterday wasn't the same team that played the first 8 weeks of the season. They changed their defense over the bye week. The problem is that we were probably prepared to face the 1-7 Falcons and that's not the team that we faced. We gameplanned wrong. We were smacked in the face and couldn't make the adjustments necessary. The loss of Lattimore and Peat were huge. It's difficult enough to make huge in-game adjustments but then you throw in the fact that you personnel is changing at the same time...and it just didn't work. It would not surprise me if the Saints weren't focused going into this game...but sometimes you work hard but it's all for naught if you don't work smart.
