Coach Pete broke the story about the Eagle Vets going to Pederson (sp?) and saying they would not play full-out for Wentz. Pederson finally gave -in, replaced him with Foles and they win a SB. The Vets did not respect Wentz. Thought he was all about Wentz and was a jerk on the sidelines at times. Personally, I say no.

Journalists break stories. What you've got there was and still is a rumour.

We can split hairs all night, but Foles is streaky and that's the valid comparison I'm making here. His lack of consistency is why he is coming off the bench, rather than starting, for almost his entire career.

Receivers and O-line wrought with injuries. Not saying Wentz is Johnny Unitas and he's just not sharp right now, but you can't function as a QB with that many injuries around you.

In your own opinion, what do you believe is wrong with Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.? If the Eagles decide to go in a different direction at QB, do you think Payton and Loomis would be interested in Wentz?

Injury prone and his arm strength appears to be deteriorating. Why go after any QB when you have Winston? Saints have watched Winston burn them for multiple TD's with spectacular throws. If I was the saints I would put Winston in for 2 consecutive series in each game depending on his ability not to turn the ball over. It's a no-brainer. Forget Hill! Wow the saints have thrown away a lot of money this year.

The Wentz/Foles dilemma reminded me a little of the Pierre Thomas/Antonio Pittman dilemma (but on a much greater scale.) You had a high draft pick invested in Wentz so had to stick with him. And ended up letting the better QB go. I bet Eagles fans complain constantly about that move now.

No one else broke it at all. That's why it's still a rumour.

The actual story, from the Philly Voice, is about Wentz and how he didn't want to run certain plays and his standing as a result.

The team went with Foles when Wentz was too injured to play at the end of the season. A torn ACL tends to force your hand. And when Wentz came back the next year, they chose him over Foles.

The only person talking about players going to Pederson to replace him is.. you. That's why it's a rumour.
