Those two short putts will haunt Rory for the rest of his life. Great ending to the Championship.
Yep... I was just as sad for Rory as I was happy for Bryson.
But DeChambeau made the shots when he had to and McIlroy didn't. Simply put Rory couldn't miss two putts inside of 4 feet and expect to win. That part of his game has been his Achilles Heel for a while now.
 
I still hate Pinehurst. New home to the HOF because it is the "Mecca" of American golf. SMH.
Just curious, have you played Pinehurst? And for those banging on the USGA for the setup, #2 plays like this all the time. Have played it 3 times in tournaments. It's chill bumps golf, and by far my favorite venue.

It's one of the few courses in the US that can consistently see the best players in the world shoot near par. That's what they want the US Open to be - hard AF
