UF and LSU Nov 19- IN TIGER STADIUM (1 Viewer)

Florida gets back to back home games vs LSU in 2017 and 2018.

LSU SEC road schedule in 2017 now:

@ Miss St
@ Fla
@ Ole Miss
@ Bama
@ Tenn

Yikes. Careful what you wish for.

Florida should have to buyout LSU's opponent

LSU Tigers, Florida Gators agree to Nov. 19 makeup game

"We made this decision to play the game in Baton Rouge," Foley said in a statement. "The conference office asked us to find a solution in working with LSU, yet LSU was never a true partner in our discussions. The Southeastern Conference offered some other solutions and the LSU administration made it clear that they were unwilling to consider other reasonable options."

Oh go fornicate with your self

Stupid, stupid, stupid "solution" that really does nothing for LSU:

-- We still play an SEC opponent when we were supposed to have an easy one
-- We still now have to face the gauntlet of Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Texas A&M.
-- Texas A&M is still 5 days after, on Thanksgiving night.
-- Florida has a chance to get its QB and defense healthier than if they played last weekend as scheduled.
-- We have one less SEC home game and one more SEC away game next year.

Florida comes out ahead on this deal. They could have easily done the same thing they are doing now this past weekend, with next year's location switched. But instead of coming to LSU when originally offered-- with a team not at full strength and with player anxiety about the hurricane--facing a re-energized Tiger team that just beat down Mizzou-- they get to face a team that has just run a gauntlet of Ole Miss, Alabama and Arkansas, while they will have faced Georgia, Arkansas and South Carolina.

But my biggest question is--- are my October 19th Season tix for South Alabama still good? Do I now have to pay a "premium" since it's now an SEC game?

Now you know why UGA hates the Gators so much...

Florida needed to be the ones to have some sort of consequences for the decision they made last weekend. Instead it seems that all the negatives fell to LSU.

Guess we'll see what kind of friend Karma is after all.

Meh, the SEC commissioner is a p...no, make that a capital P. He refused to step in when Florida was stalling the entire week before, gave the lamest excuse of an interview last Saturday, then screws LSU out of an easy home game during an otherwise brutal stretch, and on top of that, takes away LSU's home hame next year.

Florida should have have to pay LSU's buyout since they're the ones who screwed LSU out of the game. I hope Florida gets wrecked when LSU plays em on the 19th.

When was the last time the SEC had two ADs bad mouthing each other's programs? I don't think either AD is cared for much by his own school's fans.

Talk about putting gasoline on a bonfire. Wait till he(Foley) finds out Fournette will be healthy too.

I hope they don't lose any games until then, and then we steam roll them.
