If the engine room is flooded, can it still generate power for electronic surveillance? In the comments, someone said that all the power was going to pumps just to keep it afloat.
I doubt if the main engine room would be flooded, it's forward of where the drone hit. It would be the shaft alleyway and steering compartment that got hit. Where the hydraulic pumps are that power steering and capstans. Where the hotel provisions are, the sewage treatment, fresh and sea water pumps, and chlorination system, water maker. Perhaps two of the auxiliary generators. The fuel and lube oil centrifuges. And the office space for the engine room as well as the ships stores for the crew and the spare parts for the physical plant and engines.

It might house the main electrical distribution panels. That would be a very serious loss.

Might even have lost one of their fresh water tanks. There is usually one of them forward as well. Under that fresh water tank would be lube oil and waste oil tanks, as well as probably four of the double bottom fuel tanks.

The ship would have many of those double bottom tanks.

Not bad for a TV show.
In the US it would be a 3-1/2 hour TV movie.

In Russia their longest TV movies are formatted to be serial TV shows with one hour parts. This one has 4 parts. They ought to auto play one after the other on YouTube.

I've seen 16 hour Russian dramas before. They like them long, 4, 6, 8, and 12 hours are typical.

This CNN report is about two things, first the retired General being interviewed, and then it goes on to cover prank phone calls a pair of Russians have been making to US and British officials, W Bush being one of them who was pranked.
