I don't know how I missed this the first time around, but...spreadable meat is a thing? The implications of this are staggering.

It's a lot of work just to put some duck meat onto the toast but I bet it's divine. Edit: I just realized I said that twice about it being divine.

I think what you do is you make a stock out of a whole duck with maybe some other things in there and pick the meat off the bones. Then you make multiple layers or something of fat from the liquid and mix some of it back into the meat and put that on the toast with the cheese on top.

You can get duck fat from a butcher ( piece of meat on Bienville sells it ). I use ur for my roux.
It fantastic stuff
How do you get down from an elephant?
You don't.
You get down from a duck.

I've been inspired to cook today.

I'm going tacos.

Here's some of my secret ingredients:

Old El Paso taco shells
Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
Old El Paso salsa
Daisy sour cream
Rotel
Lettuce
Kraft Mexican four cheese

I can't believe I'm giving away this old family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation.
