This year's NFL draft may not hold some of the intriguing story lines or star appeal of those in recent years, but it figures to possess plenty of one particular thing: uncertainty.

What a perfect time then for our annual mock draft.

Mock drafts are full of uncertainty, doused with conjecture and sprinkled with deductive reasoning, yet there is no telling how the 2008 draft, to be held April 26-27, will play out.

Just start at the top, where the Miami Dolphins could do just about anything with the first overall pick. They might trade out of the top spot, draft a franchise quarterback, go offense or defense.

They are preparing, however, to do a lot of predraft negotiating with at least three to four prospects and their agents to determine signability issues.
