He was there with Mickey and he confirmed it too. So, obviously he must have been.

Yep. Sometimes a player may say it emphatically but then have a calm conversation with the GM and HC and get a better understanding of why, how it could help, etc., and minds get changed.

I know it’s hard for some to believe, but sometimes even literally just hashing things out over drinks could be the difference.

These guys are all human beings.

Unlike many fans, they’re evaluating game tape, not just win-loss record and attributing it all to the QB.

I just dug through Carr's career wins. Only 23 of Carr’s 77 wins are against teams that finished with better than .500 records. 169 career total starts, 23 wins against teams with winning records. I'm sure it wasn't his fault though, so let give him another $30m this year.

With Kellen, I expect things to be different. I thought the Carr move with Sneaky Pete and DA was a waste of time and money and felt that he wasn't going to move the needle in that offense, but Kellen is one of the coaches that can see the strengths and adapt around a player. I don't mind Carr as the bridge to the future with Moore as long as we find a way to get the money right.

I’m not claiming to be that guy, but the track record post Payton has not been good. I don’t think they should get an automatic pass given how the org has performed since 2020.

If you doubt he changes his mind then what are we even talking about? lol there’s a million different things that are possible we don’t discuss every single one of them, have to be realistic. If someone says it thenselves, it’s more likely true than not.
