Emmanuel Butler isn’t shy about having a chip on his shoulder.
The rookie wide receiver out of Northern Arizona was overlooked coming out of high school, but longtime Lumberjack head coach Jerome Souers took a chance on him.
Butler missed most of his senior year due to a season-ending shoulder injury, but he came back for a fifth year, rewriting the Northern Arizona record books in the process. After that star-studded 2018 season, Butler went undrafted despite being invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.
