Water into wine baby! He could have turned it into anything. Juice boxes, tea, lemon aide. Nope, he picked wine. Good thing beer wasn't invented yet.

Not even close SSF Jesus.

In Mesopotamia (ancient Iraq), early evidence of beer is a 3900-year-old Sumerian poem honoring Ninkasi, the patron goddess of brewing, which contains the oldest surviving beer recipe, describing the production of beer from barley via bread.

Oh...thanks Cliff Clavin

Haha yeah, not to add to the nerdness but some form of fermented wheat drink - which is essentially what beer is - has existed for thousands of years, and probably appeared shortly after wheat domestication occurred roughly 10,000 years ago. It's one of the oldest beverages known in human history.

I think people just assume wine is older because when you think wine, you think Mediterranean, which makes you think "ancient history". But early, loose forms of what you could classify as beer is much older.

...LOL now back on track, please be the all blacks. It's MNF against the Failclowns, do it right Payton!
