Saw this mentioned on one of the MNF post game shows.

Saints are one of only five or six (can't recall the exact number) to rush on more than 90% of their offensive snaps in a game. In a 1978 game with the Saints vs. the hated 49ers, the Saints ran the ball on 55 of 59 plays (93%). The Saints created six turnovers leading to a 14-7 victory.

The video is classic with Hank Stram on color commentary. Here's a chance for you younger fans to see Archie play although he only throws four times. And O.J. Simpson played for the Niners!

Those old uniforms look pretty nice

That is a pretty amazing lineup after the game. But what the heck was Kaz?

I'm always amazed by how much bigger the shoulder pads used to be back then! :eek3:
Maybe that's why there are so many injured now, look at what the players wear today, next to nothing for padding.
