Lance Briggs is. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Tommie Harris, the O-Line swallowing DT is out, so I can see the inside running game being prosperious behind Karney's lead blocks. Expect some good pad clashing between Urlacher and Karney. The outside runs, misdirections and short passes concern me with Briggs playing OLB. Think back to the Baltimore game. Ray Lewis is gonna be Ray Lewis, but Terrell Suggs seemed like he was always on the play. Suggs and Briggs are two superstar LB's that rarely get the credit they deserve because of their MLB counterparts. They are both heady defenders and instrumental to their respective defenses.
I am not afraid to play any team in the league and we can beat anyone when our offense doesn't give the ball away. As with every opponent, we have favorable matchups all over the field. Baltimore and Chicago's defenses are both aggresive and can win games on their own; we just need to watch out for Briggs. With that said, Coach P will gameplan appropriately and we will win this game... Geaux Saints.
