Another week of NFL action is in the books, and while plenty of teams still have playoff aspirations, many fans have already turned their attention to the 2017 draft.
As we look forward to next April, here’s an early look at how the first two days of the draft could shake out, based on the current draft order through Week 7.

2017 NFL mock draft: updated three-round projections | The Draft Wire

I know it's wayyyyyy early......but having the first offensive lineman going at 21? This person hasn't been paying attention to recent drafts.

I don't want the Saints to draft LF7, but I don't want anyone else to have him either. :idunno:

Dunno about a CB... I'm thinking best pass rusher.

I would rather us get fournette than carolina. That would be scary them running the option 😳

Me too. Myles Garrett/Derek Barnett/Tim Williams - one of them should be there. If not, take a chance on someone like Levonte Fields.

Kikaha may or may not come back. But even if he does, the likelihood he'll re-aggravate the injury is too high. Got to get a pass rusher either in the draft or FA.

My head would explode if the Panthers got LF7!!!

It would be my nightmare as well. I hate the Panthers with every fiber of my being, but I hope they finish around 8-8,out of the playoffs, and
draft in the 12-15 range.

Actually this year class of OL lacks top end talent. So don't be surprised.

Can Robinson is the top OL and I've seen mocked between 20 and 25

Wow, Carolina being projected as ending up 4th worst team. Cam will possibly be on suicide watch at that point.

I would hate to see it but LF7 would fit perfect with the Panthers can you imagine having to defend against him and Cam? Having him would also save Cam from having to make some of the foolish runs he attempts.

I hope they win some games and draft later because that combo will eat us up for years and it would make me hate a good guy from NOLA. I don't mind hating Cam.

Don't want to click?

6. New Orleans Saints: Jabrill Peppers, DB, Michigan
The Saints need all kinds of help on defense, and in this scenario, one of the most dynamic talents in the entire draft falls right into their lap. Peppers can line up anywhere in the secondary and make big plays, and is an explosive return specialist. Regardless of where you play him, he’s going to find the ball and make good things happen when he gets there.

This would be the steal of the draft. Many cbs are compared to Charles Woodson, but Peppers really can be the next Woodson.

38. New Orleans Saints: DeVonte Fields, EDGE, Louisville

I am unfamiliar with Fields, but we do need edge help.
Notable pick after Fields are Pocic, Sid Jones, Mason Rudolph, Royce Freeman, Reeves-Maybin, Perine, Adoree Jackson, Lotulelei. All of whom I would love.

70. New Orleans Saints: Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina

I don't know who Trubisky is, but the media will demand we pick a qb in this draft. Some of the picks taken after Trubisky are very familiar names such as Dupri, Godchaux, Wormley, Vanderdose, Beckwidth, Dural, and Dimick, all of whom I would take over Trubisky.

Peppers is a flat out stud. I'd be 100% all in on that pick.
Hope he's available at pick 32.

Carolina is too good to be drafting as high as it is in this mock draft.

What bothers me about this draft is the absence of top front seven talent on defense. After Garrett, who is the best defensive end or linebacker?

Also, Cam Robinson will be a top pick.
