If it matters, Usher currently has a very successful residency in Las Vegas right now. I'm guessing that had something to do with the choice.

I am not going to lose any sleep over it. I am sure he will do well. Not my genre of music but that’s ok. I am ultimately there to watch the Saints win a Super Bowl.

They'll almost definitely be announcing other artists to go with him but it's following a trend: I'm getting older so my demographic is now the target demographic. Catchy songs from the 90s and early 2000s are now the music to commercials trying to sell me stuff ("I got 5 on it", "California Love", etc). Usher was the background music to a bunch of Skating Rink puppy love back in the day with "You Got it Bad".

Usher is super talented and has a bunch of hits so, good choice. But I'm starting to feel old in this demographic. Can we bring back the Rolling Stones so I can revel at home much younger I am than them?
