COLUMBUS - All-Big Ten cornerback Malcolm Jenkins will return for his senior season, Ohio State announced in a release this afternoon. But another release minutes later announced that All-Big Ten defensive end Vernon Gholston is leaving for the NFL.
Both were projected as a sure first-round picks in the NFL Draft and were expected to leave. Jenkins' return comes as a surprise and might bode well for the potential return of other juniors like linebackers James Laurinaitis and Marcus Freeman.

You could move Grant inside...
That's what I've been wondering. Grant has had issues with moving to DT because they get paid less than DEs. Well, Grant has his monster contract. Would he be more willing to move to DT almost exclusively? He could take Young's spot and we could get another NT to spell/replace Hollis.

Hey, lets draft everyone from Ohio State's D - Gholston, Jenkins, Laurinits. We will be fine unless we have to deal with LSU's Line or receivers.

I think that was Darren Howard when we franchised him. Grant, I don't believe, has ever made noise about moving to DT, largely because we've never considered it until this past year or 2.

I could be wrong though.

3-4

Grant NT DE
Gholston Shanle Fujita Smith
harper bullocks
FA mckenzie

Basically they could go crazy like Dallas did that year in drafting ware spears and canty in shifting to the 3-4 defense

Gholston and the fresh prince would be great olbs

Grant is a prototypical 3-4 DE

Dome Patrol ya heard
