I like this team, especially when Rankins comes back. Our depth at DT is not great 'til that happens though. I think DT is our weakest spot. If this happens, we'll also be very young at WR. But Grayson seems to be a great little slot whom I like better than Carr, but Carr could replace Grayson.

Offense: 25
QB: Brees, Bridgewater, Hill
RB: Kamara, Murray, Washington, Ozigbo
FB: Line
TE: Cook, Hill, Derby, Arnold
WR: Thomas, Ginn, Smith, Butler, Grayson
LT: Armstead, Ola
LG: Peat, Easton
C: McCoy, Tom
RG: Warford
RT: Ramczyk

Defense: 25
DE: Jordan, Davenport, Hendrickson, Horton
DT: Brown, Onyemata, Stallworth, Williams, Edwards
LB: Anzelone, Klein, Davis, Robertson, Biegel
SS: Bell, Gardner-Johnson
FS: Williams, Banjo, Hampton
CB: Lattimore, Apple, Robinson, Webster, Hardee, Sherels

Special Teams: 3
LS: Wood
P: Morstead
K: Lutz

I think DT Williams, DE Horton, and TE Derby with
LB Ellis, WR Kirkwood, and maybe G Clapp or WR Cobbs.

And after last night's performance, might have to start considering return specialist D. Harris.

I know I kept a ton of WRs, but last year we ran with a bunch just to hold on to Cobbs and Carr.

Unless a TE shows out, and none but Cook have, I don't see the Saints giving up on Mack. All things being equal, he's the 2nd most talented TE on the team. Hill is #2 for sure, but those other guys aren't going to get the nod over Mack unless they play great.

Why Clapp? Tom and Easton can both play C/G and are ahead of Clapp on the depth chart.

Ellis will make the practice squad.

Rogers for Ozi (need a backup for AK)
and Kirkwood for Grayson
other than that, it looks good
...
except maybe no Derby but another DB instead

Grayson and Webster won’t make it over Kirkwood and PJ Williams.

Lose Williams add Ellis.

Ozigbo is a bubble guy. I see him more practice squad. Drop Derby. Not so sure about Horton either.

Are you cutting PJ Williams or is he getting traded?
Cutting him and Crawley. We didn't really want Williams back, but after he realized no one else wanted him, he agreed to sign for league minimum. His time is done. Crawley is too.

If you watch Webster, he can play inside or out - Williams can't. Kirkwood isn't a slot. If we don't keep Grayson, it won't be for Kirkwood, it'd be for another slot. Kirkwood needs to get healthy yesterday or he's gone.

I didnt even realize you had cut a starter. I saw Williams at FS and thought PJ. Yeah, add this to the things I dont see happening. Your rationale for cutting him feels manufactured rather than evidence based. He's getting the most reps for the nickel spot. We're not doing that to help him find a new team.

Wow... I didn't realize that PJ wasn't on the list. I see no way he doesn't make the team.
