I saw them in Lafayette recently and when introducing this song Anselmo made some reference that this song has nothing to do w/ the football team. Obviously the lyrics have nothing to do with the Saints, but a lot of people assumed it was a reference to them because the band is from nola.

Man, sucks that I don't remember hardly anything from that show. I started drinking too early. Next time, I'm not going to crack a beer until the show starts. I'm still ****** off about that. Grant St. was just too small and it was packed in there.
