Video of Payton's "look" after Colston's TD right b4 the half (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I was cracking up when I saw him...it was right when they were going to commercial break...he loves his job...lol..

I liked his reaction after the evans TD challenge. sorry no clip. It was priceless, reminded me of Chucky during his romp of the raiders in the superbowl.

It was less about running the score up than it was a nod to Brees and Colston. That was a sick throw that only a few QBs in this league can make, and Drew makes it consistently.

I mean that was perfect coverage, defender was all over Colston. Drew just put it 10 inches higher than anyone but Colston could reach it, and he made it look routine.

Payton is a former QB, he knows how difficult that was, even if most people just thought it was a normal play..

There are lots of subtle things coaches do with each other during a game. To them it's a big chess match. You'll often see them acknowledge each other after one makes a good call or outwits the other.

I know Andy Reid probably gave him a "damn I wish he was my quarterback" look and Payton responded. Like the guy who knows his girlfriend is the hottest chick at the party...

That smug look on Payton's face was the highlight of my day on Sunday! It makes me so happy seeing our coach with a look of confidence. Right now his play calling is on a different level than any other offense.

For some reason, his look reminds me of this guy.

Whoops, I just read that this was taken from before the half.
