Am I the only one who realized, the heart and will of Jonathan Vilma got is back into the game. He was in my opinion was the MVP of that game.

Vilma stepped up bigtime in the second half. It seemed like he was everywhere on the field. He tamed the wildcat.

I agree 100%. He took over in the 2nd quarter and it was because of his play I knew we'd get back in it. His play started turning the tide...and I knew Brees would answer the bell at some point.

He played his *** off against Miami, and I feel that a guy like that keeps his unit motivated, upbeat, and aggressive in tough times.
To be honest, from what I could see on TV, none of the guys on the team had the "give up" body language. The score looked bad, but the players never looked like they were done, IMO.

YES! Vilma took it very personal that the Phins were running on us. We do need to give The Gregg props for making an adjustment that was allowing Vilma to make plays.

He and Drew were very emotional for this game.

Very classy guy. Vilma came up to me and gave me one of his gloves after the dolphins game.

Vilma had a great game. During the first half he just had a look on his face that said he wasn't going to let this game get out of hand and he was PO'd about it. He played with a lot of passion and heart. It was terrific to see our team have that fire and not let a game get away from them.

Definitely. In fact the announcers made some comments about how well Vilma was playing despite the 24-3 score and how he was trying to rally the team and acting like a leader.

Vilma = leader of our defense

Shockey too! How about the way he absolutely punked Gibril Wilson!

Those two players from "the U" really wanted to make a statement in Miami.

Jonathan,

YOU ARE WHO WE THOUGHT YOU WERE!!!

Considering they mentioned it about a dozen times during the game itself and there have been a dozen threads about it since Sunday... yeah I'm gonna go with no, you're not the only one to realize that he straight beasted. :9:

he was the first player on our defense, who completely sussed out the wild cat variatons ran by the dolphins this night. he needed a handfull of plays to realize ist, but then he started through and was total havoc. yes he was the greatest part on his own rights, this night. nice hit on pat white by the way
