I think he would give us a great replacement for Will Smith. He had 7 sacks off the bench last year for KC and could provide depth behind Can Jordan and also come in for Hicks at LDE as a nickel pass rusher. At 28 he is in his prime and a 3 year deal would work nicely.

He is extremely undersized for a 34 end. He is too slow to play OLB and I don't think we are going to go after players in free agency that have very limited niche type roles, particularly at a position that has so many quality players for a small price.

Also, he played for the Bengals last season not the Chiefs.

I've actually seen him play and like the guy but only as a 43 end and even then he is a situational pass rusher because he can't play the run at all which is why he was released from the Giants and Bucs and why the Chiefs and Bengals didn't offer him a new contract when the contract he had with the teams expired.
