The Giants have 1 win. The Eagles, Washington, and Cowboys all have 2 wins apiece. Eagles in 1st simply because they tied one game.

Kind of beautiful in a way.

Yeah it is until we have to go to freezing Philadelphia in week 1 of the playoffs or we are on the outside looking in the playoff race because the NFC East automatically gets a spot.

yep people under estimated Seattle way back when and look what happen.. Beast Mode. If saints happen to play any of these NFC East teams all it takes it a few turnovers and calls to go against them and a lot of yall will be sitting there with egg on your face. Asking how and why. Blame Game until the draft.

Fortunately for us we’ll already be battle tested from having to play in freezing Philadelphia in Week 14.

I just find that division annoying. Dallas still gets an undeserved amount of media attention. Some loser out of that division will end up getting into the playoffs with home-field advantage. Another loser will end up getting an undeserved high draft pick whose talent will be wasted for years to come.

Which is why I still think the seeding needs to be based on record, not on division standings. Keep the playoff entrants to division winners and wildcards, fine. But seeding at that point should be based on record alone. Crappy team wins a crappy division? Fine, they're in the playoffs, but they get a wildcard spot, not an automatic home-game.

I actually think we'd matchup pretty well with the Eagles. We have a good run game and stop the run pretty well. Plus Payton/Brees have owned the Eagles.
