I think that's based in reality. I believe the Greeks or someone else used multiple shells with the last one being red I think.

Little known fact. In the European version of the movie, Taco Bell was replaces with Pizza Hut. I was watching it on one of the British movie networks a few months ago and i was at a loss when it was Pizza Hut. I had to google to see why it was different..lol

Except the acting in Demolition Man was terrible, even from the actors in it who are talented. Everyone was in "super-campy" mode, which gave the film a very B-grade feel.
