My take is that QBs getting hurt is part of the game and will still happen no matter how many rules are in place.. It is far too subjective and will artifically change the way teams draft, NFL recordbooks, and HOF entries.

Doesn't anyone remember that the entire reason Tom Brady became annointed is because Bledsoe got hurt? It's the natural course.

the rule doesnt keep anyone "safe" though. they just throw a flag after a quarterback gets hurt.
