No Harper, Colston, Horn, Hollis and maybe W.Smith . they have Romo and we didn't pressure Bledsoe much before and they ran well on us with Hollis, I hope we can run deuce and bush and control the clock and have a chance at the end

Preseason wasn't an example of how we matched up against anyone else so why would the Cowboys game be any different.

No example of how we match up whatsoever. We played very bland and vanilla, not going to in-depth in our playbook.

This is not the same Saints that you saw in pre-season. These guys are winners. You can't go by what happened in August. Even Parcells says that this is not the same team they met in the pre-season. He says when he looks at the Saints, he sees a lot of similarities with his team.

your joking right? the preseason? I'm not exactly sure what Payton was doing in the preseason, but I've never seen a bigger contrast between the pre and regular season as this year.

I sure hope not. I just worry about how we matched up on defense. They shredded us with Bledsoe and we didn't even come close to stopping them. Also, that was without T.O. in the line-up, but we had most of our starters in.

On offense, i think we were vanilla, so hopefully that aspect of the game will improve.

Glenn made some monstrous catches against very very good coverage, as I recall. The New Orleans offense was a notch or two below vanilla, and Drew's accuracy wasn't what it is today.

It was SPOT ON! for Pre-Season! Nothing else is relevant nor can be taken from then to now at ALL!

You MUST be kidding because, as we've all seen, there is precious little about the team now that was reveled in pre-season. NOTHING! Reggie's finding his stride and timing alone would preclude any pre-season performance, by the Offense anyway. Out Defense has solidified nicely and now ranks among the NFC's finest as does the Offense!

That said, the only thing I can think of for similarities are the team names. Now THOSE are the same as in pre-season.

The preseason was an experiment for our defense. If you watch it, you will see 8 man fronts for a large majority of the plays. We played the run quite well and I think that was what they were looking to do. While the pass game was eating us up, I don't think our coaching staff was really worried about that. I think it was cool how they really used the preseason games to teach certain parts of the offense or defense and didn't worry about the outcome of the game itself.

I think Drew's accuracy is the biggest difference. He was all over the place in preseason. It was so bad I actually questioned our move of getting him. But after he settled in, he has become what I hoped he would be. Hell, hes even exceeded my expectations.

Also with so many new people on defense, it was going to take them a while to learn to play with each other. I think they have done that, and we will see a much more competitive game Sunday night.

no! anyone that thinks that is a fool. Thats why when you go over to the dallas board they use that as an arguement that they will win. if I hear "you cant win weve already beat you in preseason" one more time im gonna hurl

If the preseason would have been an indication of how this team play was to play this season, we'd be some very bummed fans.

Payton played it very vanilla and held his cards really close, I'm sure it had alot to do with this game. Parcells seemed to approach it like he was out to show up Payton, atleast that's the impression I got... I hope he showed his cards.
