Somebody take me into the head of that special teams coach who decided this was the perfect moment to try a 4th and 10 fake punt in which the play was so slow developing that the ball carrier would be 23 yards from the first down marker when he got the ball in his hands, and needed to cover roughly 40 yards of real estate in order to get there (from one side of the field to the other).

That is inexplicable.
