What do you think of this? All she is wanting is a phone call which is her right.

sigh. Who are these people that think this is a good idea?

Is there some "Cops Gone Wild" newsletter I'm missing or something? I'm not necessarily criticizing anything anyone posts, I posted one as well (though that was intended to be funny), but man it seems like every day there's another "Cop does something horrible" thread. Are there just more stories out there nowdays? Maybe it's the youtubization of the US .

Another cop that thinks he is above the law. What's new?

I just watched the press conference with the Shreveport police chief and when asked if he thought she was resisting he said "I better not answer that" She does have a good attorney in Ron Miciotta from Shreveport.

That plus cameras in every building and every street corner. They had 3 different views of that meteor hitting Portland last night, in the middle of the night. Its getting to where you can't even commit a crime anymore.

Those black eyes are the result of a broken nose, not blows to the eyes. I really do think she fell on her face, or from the cop slamming her into the wall while in cuffs.

Well she refused the Intoxilizer breath machine and wanted to make a call her lawyer said which she had a right. The cop said she was resisting arrest. If thats the case shouldn't he had left the camera on to gather more eveidence for procecution? A good cop would have done it. They are now saying this guy has lots more brutality violations and even pulled his gun on a kid in Shreveport when family members were approaching when he was questioning individuals. I guess if he said he would shoot the kid if they approached him any futher.:9:

Yeah, it really doesn't look good ($$$$). The chief isn't a bad guy, and I know a couple of dudes in the SPD. There are some good ones and some bad ones, that's for sure.

EDIT: They obviously have some administrative problems over there though, the cop should have been scrutinized more heavily given the previous incidents.
