We will not start the year 1-10. We know that. Saying otherwise is hyperbole meant to pull others into shared misery.

My apologies. I slightly misread the statement. I thought it read that this was a 10 loss team (finish 6-10), not start the season 1-10.

1-10 is highly improbable, although I think 6-10 is within the realm of possibilities.

If the Saints lose to the Falcons on Monday night in the dome, 6-10 is probably the ceiling given the schedule. Beating the Falcons will likely lead to an improved outlook, probably in the 7-8 win range.
