Saints LT Terron Armstead was absent from Wednesday's practice after admitting that his knee injury wasn't back to where it needs to be yet during last Sunday's game. His status for this week's game against Seattle remains unknown. Also not participating in Wednesday's practice were DT Nick Fairley, LB Stephone Anthony, CB Sterling Moore and WR Jake Lampman.

Saints CB Delvin Breaux was back participating in the early portion of practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering a broken fibula in Week 1. We'll find out if he was able to participate in full-team drills when the Saints release their practice report later this afternoon. It's still unclear if there is any chance Breaux could play as early as Sunday after missing six weeks with the injury.

We need to get Armstead 100% healthy. Clearly he's a gamer in that even with his injury his performance in pass-blocking was good. Likely limited in him the run game but it shows the type of talent he is. He needs to get back to 100% health. If that means playing Peat at his natural position the remainder of the year FINE. He's looked good enough there to warrant that type of decision. Also nice to see Peat wasn't one of the guys who didn't practice.

Right now I don't care if Peat plays guard or tackle, but I think he should keep playing on the left side.

I think we under estimate how well we have done with all the injuries we have had. If we were a team with an average QB then we would be winless.

it was obvious we rushed armstead back too soon. but he finished the game i thought

With Seattle and Denver up... Armstead and Peat, one of them has to be healthy for the broncos game.

LRB should never practice. They should wrap him in bubble wrap and stick him in a box filled with those styrofoam packing peanuts until 5 minutes before each game. Let him shower after and then repackage him. They could leave and slit in the side to feed and water him.

Welp here's to hoping sterling Moore ain't out that long

The last 9 games of the season feel more winnable than the first 7. I'd rather get Rankins, Breaux, Moore and LRB healthy for those.

If we could pull off the win against the Hawks & then get LRB, Rankins & Breaux back, we have a glimmer of hope. I really think we will have to win our division to make the playoffs, but I think 10-6 would put us right there. Our defense just needs to get marginally better in order for us to win games. We have not been out of a game yet this season.
