I want to take GB. I feel like they are the right play just from a betting perspective. However, even with getting healthy I do not view them as a good team. I don't view them as a tough team either, and I think the Lions can bully them a little bit.

So, needless to say I am torn. If the line got up to 3, I would have to take GB. Anything less then I am tempted to take the Lions. Going to watch the line throughout the day.

LSU -1.5 vs OM - This one looks fishy. The Bama one last week did too. I just don't see why OM is so overrated.

Nearly 8 years ago, I had every penny in my online gaming account wagered on the Packers ML on a Thursday night game against the Lions. The Packers were favored by 3, so the ML was something like -155 or -160.

After pretty well accepting that it simply wasn't my night and perhaps just not my season.......but still watching the game "just in case"......Rodgers uncorked that Hail Mary pass to give the Packers a 4 point win, meaning not only did they get the win I needed, but they even covered for those who bet the spread. Needless to say, I immediately requested a payout.

What does that have to do with tonight's game? Well, nothing.....but good luck if you end up wagering anything .

Team went down 14-0, doubled my ML bet, team went down 21-0, doubled my ML bet, team went down 28-3, doubled my ML bet. I think we all know how that turned out. Almost covered my whole year of losses ha. Not a strategy I would recommend.

I'd love to know how many people wagering the Falcons ML or even Falcons +3 in that game never placed another sports wager following that disaster.

Looking at the GB game. I think GB is a very average team at best. Lions are far superior. They’ve won 6 of their last 7 on the road, they’ve won the last 2 at GB, they won at KC, they’re tougher, they’ve got the better talent, surprisingly they have the better QB.

All that said, the Lions just seem too easy tonight. It’s going to be Packers +3 for me or live bet. I’ll post before kickoff.
