Since we were free from our weekly blood pressure test (much needed), it was good to see how the other teams looked around the league first hand. Here are some things that stood out the most:

NFC
Cardinals: they are a complete team. Offense has a lot of weapons, defense is legit. They could be the top seed this year barring injuries and letdowns.
Bucs: same team as last year, although they are running the ball better. Secondary is still vulnerable.
Cowboys: starting to come together week by week, Dak is looking great, Diggs is a ball magnetic, clear cut to win the division.
Rams: same as the Cardinals, complete as can be, only loss came to them, should be a tough matchup the rest of the way.
Vikings & Bears: just a mixed bag, you never know which team you will get every week.
Washington, Giants & Eagles: have the talent but needs a lot of work
Lions: just can't catch a break.
Packers: they are who we thought they were and that win against team helps.
Panthers: Jets Darnold has returned and without CMC they struggle, still talented

AFC
Ravens: Lamar continues to amaze, they have found a way to win even with all their injuries, big game against Cincy next week
Chiefs: teams are starting figure out Mahomes and the offense, defense still struggles and turnovers are becoming a problem
Broncos: started off hot and have cooled off just like the Panthers, division is still wide open.
Raiders & Steelers: another mix bag of teams who still have a chance in their divisions as well.
Chargers & Bengals: Burrow and Herbert are going to be legit, their teams are coming together.
Browns & Colts: talented but the QBs leave much to be desired.
Jags & Texans: probably in a fight for a top 5 pick
Dolphins: crazy what can happen in a year, Tua has to do better with simple plays

Overall, this league is very wide open after a quarter of the season. A lot can change from know until the end of the season.

Is there any team that has surprised/disappointed you so far?

The Seahawks having a terrible defense second year in a row is shocking. I think this spells the end of Carol. Defense is his specialty and his team is performing poorly in that area.

The Bills are going to cause a lot of trouble in the playoffs.

Great post by the OP. Thanks; nice narrative.

Having said that, if we take care of "what we do" and I don't give a rat's arse about anything or anyone else.

:gosaints:
Appreciate that and I agree with that sentiment, we control our destiny

Glad we aren’t in the AFC. Allen, Herbert, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, Lawrence. They are all going to be a big problem for at least a decade (besides maybe Jackson if he follows the running QB trajectory).
They all could be in the playoffs, except Lawrence but then again you never know

Tired of the Diggs hype. People are mentioning him as a possible MVP or Defensive Player of the year yet he’s given up more yards than any other db in the entire NFL. Doesn’t compute

Cowboys are looking solid but they have no depth. They've been fortunate to not get too banged up.

It's because of his picks. I agree, he can get burned. Saw it last night against the Pats. He is a high risk/high reward type of player.
