OK so this is totally bizarre, and I can't find any help fixing it online. Today, just out of the blue, my keyboard on my Macbook started doing this weird thing where if I hit the left Shift key (but not the right one) at the same time as the letter I want to capitalize, it creates a weird symbol instead of that letter. But if I hold down the Shift key for a moment (maybe half a second) and then hit the letter I want to capitalize, it works fine. Ío if ˆ'm ˇyping fast, ˆ get Íomething Òike ˇhis Óappening ´very ˇime ˆtry ˇ Çapitalize Å Òetter. Here is the alphabet, A-Z

ÅıÇÎ´Ï˝ÓˆÔÒ˜Ø∏Œ‰Íy¨◊„˛Á¸

Anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to fix it? because it makes it REALLY annoying to try to type quickly.

No. But the weird thing is that I shut it off, came back to it a few hours later, and everyone was back to normal. Macs are just weird like that sometimes, I think.
