this fall/early winter was odd because a lot of my plants that bloom in spring or late winter started to have some really weak blooms. i chalked that up to the drought we had in tennessee.
there is a lot of other small indications that plants are confused. on example - a good portion of my hellebores started behaving like it was February while it was October.
now i am finding ticks - a lot of them. which is real strange. winters have been mild lately, and this one is no exception, but i have never seen winter ticks like this. I know there are winter ticks, but they have never attached themselves to me or my dog (I think the winter ticks are odd in that they only attach themselves to deer and stuff0.
or maybe i just have been lucky all my life to never have a winter tick problem. anyone know for sure?
