Well that was uplifting. I guess you'll live a long life as a porn star as long as you stay away from drugs, alcohol, cars, guns, ropes, and high buildings...

It's their choice to perform, but if you choose a profession that exploits and objectifies you sexually and you run with the fast coke-and-pills crowd, I'd say your odds of retiring with a healthy psyche and body are probably not good.

However if you chose a more honorable profession like a physician or engineer, you would never die from any of those means. You'd be immortal!

How long of a video could we make of unemployed teenagers who died in similar ways?

Thats the thing thats always kind of bugged me about porn , would you want your sister/brother/etc. doing that?

Proud to say I've never bought any porn, only pirated :).

I dont get what being a porn star has anything to do with car accidents and brain tumors?

I also dont get why because some porn stars ODed and offed themselves (likely while strung out on drugs after thier career was over) would make me not want to watch porn..

I also never heard of like 95% of those "stars", and I have seen a fair share of porn...

You could make a video just like this of actors/actresses and musicians (only it would be filled with people we've actually heard of). Does that mean that Hollywood and the music industry are inherently evil and they destroy peoples lives? Maybe. But it could also mean that those industries tend to attract people with a propensity to engage in unhealthy behavior and success in those fields allows them extremely gratuitous access to those vices. I've never met anyone who's been employed in porn but I don't get the feeling that the majority of participants are people who had their life completely in order prior to getting down and dirty on film for the first time.

And as mentioned before, I'm not sure what the porn industry has to do with a few people getting into car accidents and getting brain cancer.

Porn is only good if you don't have a hot gf....or you have one that likes to watch it.

Well, it shows me that there is an industry in this economy that has openings to fill.

How is your psyche from your job? I know that mine is wrecked, as is my body.

I am a chef and I could make an equal video of just the people who have come through my life in the kitchen.

bigeasy was spot on, this is ridiculous sensationalism. Frankly speaking, how many of us aren't exploited by our employers?

Where is my charity for kitchen workers?

Dumbed down, simple, sensationalized reasoning makes me sick. This video says nothing. None of us know why anyone in this video committed suicide, nor does that mean it has anything to do with porn. Steroids? How about we address pop culture and it's body image demands rather than porn? car wrecks? my god. I will give them the AIDS thing but porn has addressed that issue and porn stars statistically have less stds than the general population due to rigorous testing. puke. what about the nfl? where is mercury morris when you need him!

I always wondered what happened to a few of them that were shown. Oh, well I guess there was another ready to step in.

There's a porn store off of I-20 and hwy 80 going into Dallas, where a church put up a hugh billboard right outside of it with the saying "Real men don't need porn" with a picture of a guy with a face palm looking really frustrated.......:hihi:

So, would rubbing one out in memory of the people in the video be considered bad form?
