I'm happy to always see a Saints win but the fact is the bye week couldn't come at a better time for this team. Defense plays in peaks and valleys. They force 6 or 7 punts but give up big play after big play at the worst possible times. Lattimore is lackluster one minute, then makes a game saving tackle the next.

The offense was straight putrid, lackluster and uninspired in the 1st half. Thank GOD the Chargers are prone to blowing leads because against a better team I'm not sure the Saints pull it out.

BTW, that roughing the kicker call was weak sauce!!!!!!

I think Lattimore played that pass to Mike Williams as well as anyone could. The much bigger player just went up and got it. If anything I blame DA for putting Latt in Man Coverage against Mike Williams. And that tackle that won the game was IMO unbelievable. When Williams first caught the ball, I knew for sure it was a first down. Latt had one of the best pure determination tackles I think I’ve ever seen. Good Game...Good Win!
