So because he makes a certain amount you can't have one more RB and one less WR? This isn't Madden, he doesn't have to fit into a slot.

You can always take one less of something to add one extra of something else and Reggie (and SP's) versatility really opens things up for this. I know these guys aren't singed but for example, we could just have Colston, Meachem, Patten, Henderson, and Moore, plus Reggie and then five RBs. Its a little gaudy at that position, but Bush is only an RB half the time to begin with anyway, and with Deuce recovering we may need the backup.

Another option is to draft a young reliable guy that could either beat someone out or get snuck onto the PS. Then we'd have Deuce, Reggie, Pierre, Steck, and a backup on PS.

Save the money. Thomas is younger, cheaper, and more capable. Plus, when Stecker is forced into duty, although he does well, he always breaks down. Give another couple of FA's a chance to earn a spot like Thomas did last year.

How about we count Reggie as more of a WR? Let's be honest, most of us prefer him catching and our stud, Deuce will need as little carries as possible if back, and we need some insurance if he isn't. So, sure up the WR spot, since Reggie is so versatile count him as the last WR, Steck gets to stay to add insurance at RB and SpT, and we could even bring someone else in to give more chances of our RB corp being good....with Pierre leading the way, of course.

I don't think you take guy and decide that he can't be a rb after basically one annd a half seasons. If the team wants him to be a RB they need to let him develop at that position rather than move him out of it after such a short period.

Things I will say for Reggie. As a RB only deuce was better (and not always better) at moving the chains on 3rd down and in scoring in the red zone. That's huge for a RB. And that is also something the team missed quite a bit when reggie wasn't on the field. Maybe the team should just focus on what Reggie IS good at and not give his slot away to a very average back.
