My first nominee is John Goodman. When trying to decide where his claim to fame is, I truly can't find a place to land. Dan Connor to Walter Sobchak and beyond. I haven't seen his entire filmography; but everything I HAVE seen him in, I pretty much remember.

Jonah hill was fantastic in Maniac - one TV series but that should count (same with Emma Stone)
on the flip side is Vincent D'nofrio who had one stellar supporting role movie and lots of great tv and movie character bits
also
cillian murphy
wait...how are we forgetting Chris Pratt? he probably wins this

I'm specifically NOT thinking of actors that no longer get any movie roles so they "had" to go to TV.

Bryan Cranston. And speaking of Goodman, one of my favorite roles of his was as Creighton Bernette in Treme.
