What Hill can do with current roster (3 Viewers)

You definitely have a point. But 2013 at BYU he had a full year with no injuries. What percentage of starters in the NFL start every game in a season? Not trying to be snarky, but genuinely curious.
Did he start at BYU in 2013? Tyasom was in concussion protocol for 4 wks. He is an aging running QB, with no deep ball, who seeks contact and is unwilling to slide. I just don't see him staying healthy.

Time to start Hill at QB if cleared. I think Semian can be very good with our traditional install but you have to have the skill guys and playmakers to enhance Semians game, Trevors game can get the ball into playmakers hands quickly. We currently dont have the playmakers at the skill spots. Your best Playmaker currently is T Hill. Now with Hill you can be big with your personel. Humphry Trautman, Johnson on the peremiter. Run everything thru zone read looks and concepts. Hills presence will keep some guys out the a or b gap for the RB to break some runs. Will have some passes out of those looks too. Sprinkle in some of our traditional money plays and playactions. But be similar what the eagles doing with Hurts Zone/Read needs to be ur base look u show majority of the time. Let the best playmaker u have left touch the ball every play. And defense holds up we can grind some wins

Yeah, let's take our concussion prone QB and just run him into the ground. Wonderful idea.

This season is lost. I'm sorry. We have an injured OL, DL, TE, WR, RB, QB. Are we forgetting Hill missed what 3-4 weeks from a concussion??? And now you want to throw him behind this injured offensive line without ANY playmakers??

You're gonna get Hill killed for maybe a win or two.

Agreed. Taysom has more zip on the ball as we'll as a better deep ball than TS. We'll live and die with his accuracy though.

Just hoping for any kind of offensive spark for Thursday night...

Hill has a better deep ball??

Are we living in a clown world?

Yes he was the full year starter in 2013 at BYU.

He's probably more likely to stay healthy at full time QB than he is at full time joker. To be fair though, the only reason he's had so much time out this season is because of a dirty hit that would have put every person in the league in concussion protocol for a few weeks. Then a minor foot deal which is not atypical for an NFL player.

Taysom has more arm strengthā€¦ thatā€™s undeniableā€¦ Siemian has better timing though, no doubt

For someone with such good arm strength he has an incredible knack for under throwing anything deep. It's not like Siemian is good at it, Hill is just bad regardless of the comparison.

Yeah...I'm really getting ripped for that comment. I just haven't seen TS throw one in a long time so maybe I just forgot and only know that, like you said, Taysom at least has the arm strength (and mobility behind a shaky line) to hopefully stretch the defense a little

Main point is with what we got to work with at the skill positions, Hill starting at QB can give you a way to move the ball with the personel we have. Im talking Run, Run, Run. The guys we do have we can put some size out there on the perimeter with Humphrey and Johnson. Play off the Zone read concepts. Time consuming drives, HOPE we can make a few FGs defense can hold and we grind away some wins with this bunch. Hills presence Keeps a guy playing the the perimeter. Kamara or Ingram will break some big gains. Hill can play the end run to to the perimeter with some size out there to block. Let one of ur best play makers touch the ball every snap. Sprinkle in some of the west coast concepts weve always run. Everything should be done with a zone read look if Hills ur QB

This is a valid thought and it's also quite likely a reasonable option given the fact that we have nothing else in the cupboard.

If Sean Peyton figures out how to win down 7 starters. 5 pro-bowlers. 4 all pros and with a gadget player as QB he is god in a visor.

We need to run hurry up from heavy personnel sets. Don't sub and let Peyton identify coverages over the headset. Use quick snaps to discombobulate everything.

Go back to the old run and shoot hurry up offense? Nothing else works and maybe putting 5 wides would make someone open

If Sean letā€™s Taysom start at QB he also needs to adjust the offense to fit Taysomā€™s skill set. Taysom is not a drop back QB, heā€™s basically a Ryan Tannehill before he went to the Titans but with a lot less NFL QB experience. Taysom needs a zone read/RPO type offense to succeed, something he can make quick 1-2 reads and take off if itā€™s not there. Putting Taysom in our traditional offense where he has to read the whole field is not fair to Taysom.

4 weeks concussion protocol though?
