True. It depends on the thread. If it's something between friends on the board that most people reading will understand, no problem. There's a way it can be done that is not insulting and doesn't lead to a fire fight. (If you think a thread is getting out of hand, feel free to report it and a mod/admin will clean it up if needed.)
It's a shame when a great, heated discussion gets pulled because of needless insults, so I'm hoping a thread like this gets people thinking about ways they can communicate without breaking the TOS.
Something like this title is almost always deleted. I left it for a purpose - hopefully to get more people on the same page, so we won't have to keep editing posts.
He certainly had a catchy title that many of the prime EE politicos clicked on.
