Isn’t that how it usually works?
It might be Misophonia. I have it bad. For me, it's sounds like repetitive coughing, sniffling or throat-clearing. I get to a point where I want to smash that person's face in. Cave in their sinuses to stop the sound. It's more than a pet peeve. It's a syndrome or something. A 'condition'.What are some little things that just bug the sheet out of you? For me, it is people crunching or eating loudly. Currently, there's a guy across from me at work eating God knows what and it is really driving me crazy. i don't know how much longer I can stand this without saying something lol.
So what are some of your pet peeves?
People who have pet peeves.
One of my pet peeves (and I have many) besides loud eaters, is cyclists that ignore traffic laws by running red lights and not obeying stop signs. I mean, I'm happy to give a cyclist as much space as possible when I pass them, but it annoys me to no end that they will then run a red light or stop sign. I'm happy to look out for cyclists and be aware that they are there. But, don't put yourself in extra danger of getting run over or running out in front of my by ignoring the traffic laws.
Mine is the actual term pet peeve.
People that come to websites such as (but not limited to) this one, asking for advice (should I buy this or that?, what should I do about this? , should I stay or should I go?, etc) and dozens of members chime in with recommendations, most of which are useful. But then the person who asked the question never comes back to tell us what decision they made and why? I'm always curious what the outcome was and what factors led to the decision.
Im starting to find that cyclists are getting an attitude about being a cyclist on city streets. If you want the respect, don't weave in and out of traffic, don't pass up slow moving traffic and get mad if you are to close to them. Stay with the traffic flow, and there won't be any problems.Drivers that think they are so much more important than cyclists or pedestrians that drive too fast in populated areas and aren't patient while people cross the street or stop in the middle of crosswalks.
People saying the word super in front every adjective. Drives me nuts.
Have a super nice day everyone
