Man, there was a time in life I wanted and had all that... Back when I was a kid I took my tv apart and ran speaker wire to the Aux on my receiver.. I had surround sounds years before it ever came out... 13 inch B&W Zenith playing Saints games with 100 watts of power.

Now today... This makes me very happy.... a little Bluetooth am/fm

All kidding aside, I do have a 5.1 Onkyo system that I've had for years that is amazing. Don't ask for specs b/c right now I'm kinda hammered and it's loud AF.

i'm a newbie to the surround sound scene. thankfully, my bff's dad is a total sound nerd. he's the one that has recommended my setup (other than receiver, which i had a fairly old marantz before the yamaha). he had helped me build a fairly decent cheap setup that sounds good, at least to me.

i highly recommend the 5.1 energy https://www.energy-speakers.com/home-theater-systems/?sku=TK-CLASSI-5-1 system i have started with.

also, apparently, monoprice has a comparable set, made by energy (klipsch sub-brand).
